Lenape Technical School Practical Nurse Program

The Lenape Technical School Practical Nurse Program is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Evening Nursing Instructor who brings both clinical expertise and a passion for educating the next generation of nurses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Associate Nursing Degree (ASN) Working on BSN
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing education experience or two (2) years of recent direct patient care experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to student success and professional nursing education
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting future nurses

Key Responsibilities As a Nursing Instructor, you will:

• Teach nursing content throughout the Practical Nurse Program, including:
  • Level I: Anatomy & Physiology, Professional Role & Communication (PRC), Nutrition, and Fundamentals of Nursing
  • Level II: Medical-Surgical Nursing
  • Level III: Maternity Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing
  • Level IV: Leadership and Gerontology
• Provide instruction in both classroom and clinical settings
• Supervise and mentor students during clinical experiences
• Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Support student learning and academic achievement
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to maintain a high-quality educational environment
• Foster professionalism, critical thinking, and clinical competence in future nurses

Schedule Part-Time Evening Position

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• No weekends , No holidays

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $35.00 per hour
• $2.00 per hour evening shift differential

Job description:

Lenape Technical School Practical Nurse Program is looking to hire part-time Evening Weekend faculty position available at the Ford City Site. The candidate's primary responsibility will be to educate students in classroom and clinical setting.  This will involve Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Lecture 5pm-930pm and 2weekends a month 7:00am-3:30 pm clinicals at local clinical sites. The candidate must have a minimum of a BSN, MSN preferred and 2 years' recent clinical experience. Child abuse, Criminal and Fingerprint clearances required. Successful Candidate will be required to have a physical exam (inclusive of TB testing) and to provide Act 34 (inclusive of FBI clearance) and Act 151 Clearances. EOE
